The Sample Probe Assembly Configuration falls outside the scope of ASME PTC 19.3 TW-2010, which was specifically developed for Thermowell Configurations. However, based on similar mounting methods and geometries, the analysis methodology of ASME PTC 19.3 TW-2010 will be applied to the Sample Probe Assembly configuration as an effort to validate its design acceptability.
Sample Probe Assembly Configuration is based on the process data provided by the user. The user is responsible for ensuring the Sample Probe Assembly Is compatible with the process fluid, including without limitation identification of stress, corrosion Or embrittlement effects. These calculations are only intended to be an aid in choosing a Sample Probe Assembly for specific applications.
